The XVIth International Cyrill and Methodius Readings took place on May 26-28, 2010 in Institute of Theology of Belarus State University (BSU) and at Belarus State University of Culture and Arts, devoted to the International day of Slavic writing and culture, at traditional organizational and financial support of the International public association «Christian educational center of Saints Methodius and Cyrill».
On 16th of April 2010 in the International Public Association of “Christian Educational Centre of Cyril and Methodius "and the Institute of Theology of the Belarusian State University (Minsk, pr.Nezavisimosti, 24) was a solemn evening dedicated to the honor of the Chairman of the Centre and the Rector of the Institute of the Metropolitan of Minsk and Slutsk’s the 75 th anniversary.
On February 12, 2010 there had place the meeting of Metropolitan of Minsk and Slutsk Philaret, Patriarchal Exarch of all Belarus and the representatives of Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Germany). The meeting was devoted a theme «The value of Christian social ethics for the Western and the Eastern Europe in the conditions of global economic crisis» and has taken place in a conference hall of the Minsk Diocesan Administration with the organizing assistance of Saints Methodius and Cyrill Christian Educational Center.
The consultation “Christian Mission in the 21st century. An Orthodox Perspective” took place on February 2010 in Minsk in St. Methodius and Cyrill Theology Institute.
On January, 9, 2010 the XIV Christmas evening of the International public association “Christian educational center of Saints Methodius and Cyrill” and of Institute of theology of Saints Methodius and Cyrill of Belarus state university took place. The results of work in 2009 in the affair of Christian education and enlightenment have been summed up. The representatives of Orthodox and Catholic clergy, other traditional religious associations of Belarus, scientists, representatives of culture and education spheres have taken part in Christmas evening.
