For many years already the Christian Educational Center has been successfully financing the educational process at the Faculty of Theology, but, unfortunately, there is always lack of means for financing of scientific research, which is conducted at the departments of the Faculty.

At present the Department for Religious Studies has been conducting scientific research on the theme «Transformation processes in religious consciousness of post-communist Belarus».

The department of theological disciplines has been conducting scientific research on the theme «Christian education in secular society (mutual relations of the Church, the society and the state: history, present, perspective)».

As it is evident from the names of researche themes, both departments of the Faculty of Theology deal with the same problems: «The Church, religion and democracy in new Belarus».
