Social,
ecological and youth programmes of the Centre have
advanced to qualitatively new level recently. Their
number is growing as well as the number of its
participants and partners and increasingly greater funds
are involved in their implementation. An increasingly
greater number of people are participating in the
volunteer movement. At present about 80 volunteers are
working in various programmes of our Centre. The
planning and implementation functions of these
programmes were carried out by different staff of the
Centre up to now. The necessity has a reason to set up a
separate standing working group of social, ecological
and youth initiatives to fulfill these functions. The
establishment of this group would permit to solve the
following tasks:
·
to
appoint a senior project manager for every group of
projects who would be responsible for all stages of
every project;
·
to
provide coordination and interrelation of projects;
·
to
provide the coordination of the volunteer activities;
·
to
provide the coordination of activities with the
partner-organizations:
Public charity “Belarusian children hospice, Republican
Association of Chair-Bound People, Paralympic Committee
of the Republic of Belarus, Association of Differently
Abled People of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian
Committee "Special Olympics", social security of local
administrations as well as the partners from abroad: the
Russian Orthodox Church Parish in Stockholm (Sweden) and
others.
·
to
establish a single system of social and ecological
practical training for the students of the only theology
faculty in our country;
·
to
create a system of volunteer service in social and
ecological sphere for students from other universities
irrespective of their faith;
·
to
establish an educational Centre to train volunteers for
spiritual rehabilitation of sick children as well as
their parents who take care of them.
·
To
advance from separate social and ecological events to
steady work on permanent basis involving volunteers;
The group includes three people who are the theology
faculty graduates with special training in social work
and experience of social projects of the Centre. Every
expert in the group is responsible for a certain area of
activities, for developing project concept, planning,
volunteer activities coordination and realization of the
project.
