The International Voluntary Association «Saints’ Methodius and Cyrill Christian Educational Centre» has a library of 7500 volumes of books of religious-philosophical contents in Russian and foreign languages, some of them are considered to be rare and are of certain bibliographic value. The Library fund is constantly replenished due to the help of universities of Germany, Italy, France, the USA, Christian publishing houses of Europe "Life with God" and "Christian Russia". At present the library contains editions of authors almost from all Christian confessions, the Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant theological schools.
Originally the library was established for the students and teachers of the Theological Faculty, but at present it is open to all interested readers. The representatives of all Christian Churches can work in this library, and at present it is a unique specialist theological library in the Republic of Belarus, with modern theological and religious - philosophical literature.
At present the library services 1500 readers, and their number will increase considerably after the library will move to a new, more spacious building.
Besides we have plans to carry out computerization of the library and to connect it to the Internet. This will ensure the students-theologians and other readers in receiving more opportunities for learning foreign languages and for the work in Internet–libraries all over the world, and the Theological Faculty can raise on a qualitatively different level teaching of such subjects, as «Religious studies in the Internet», and also «Divinity», «Liturgy» and «Patrology».
